Who it's for
Built for manufacturers and wholesalers running Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
- Customer-specific prices: price and discount groups, quantity breaks and special prices in the ERP.
- Orders by part number – also using your customers' own part numbers or straight from Excel lists.
- Lots of orders by phone and email that your inside sales team still re-keys.
- Customers with purchasing departments that need roles, budgets and approvals.
Why ERP-native?
Off-the-shelf shops don't know your pricing logic. This one does.
Conventional e-commerce platforms keep a copy of your data and sync it through connectors. In B2B, that means wrong prices, re-keyed orders and customers calling for every invoice copy. The Enterprise B2B Shop turns this around – your ERP stays the system of record.
| Topic | Typical shop with connector | Enterprise B2B Shop |
|---|---|---|
| Prices | Typical shop with connector Exported price lists, synced with a delay – special prices and discount groups get lost. | Enterprise B2B Shop Live from your ERP's pricing engine: customer prices, discounts, quantity breaks and units of measure – accurate to the cent. |
| Availability | Typical shop with connector Stock as of the last sync. | Enterprise B2B Shop Live from the ERP – with the shipping location, incoming stock and a same-day shipping promise. |
| Orders | Typical shop with connector CSV exports or middleware, duplicates on errors, manual re-entry. | Enterprise B2B Shop Straight into your ERP as an open sales order or quote – exactly once, with a price check in the same transaction. |
| Freight & credit | Typical shop with connector Flat freight rates and estimates – and in standard NAV, orders created via web service skip the credit-limit check. | Enterprise B2B Shop Your ERP calculates freight and packaging from its own tariff. The shop extension checks the credit limit with your ERP's formula – including open web orders, and again when the order is created. |
| Documents | Typical shop with connector Only shop orders are visible; invoices only on request by email. | Enterprise B2B Shop Orders, quotes, shipments and invoices from every channel – with PDF copies in your ERP's original layout. |
| Sales | Typical shop with connector A separate CRM with no link to the shop. | Enterprise B2B Shop An inside-sales back office and a field-sales cockpit with live ERP data. |
ERP integration
Directly connected. No middleware.

Your ERP stays in charge
Pricing, availability, freight and credit checks run in your ERP – with its own logic. The shop keeps no shadow prices, and costs, margins and vendor data never leave your ERP.
-
Exactly-once transfer
Every order carries an idempotency key. Retries after timeouts never create duplicates – inside sales settles any open case with a one-click check against the ERP.
-
Non-invasive
The extension changes no standard objects. Your ERP administrator switches add-on functions such as freight, payments, document copies or quote acceptance on and off – instantly, with no import and no shop deployment.
-
Dry runs on real data
Orders, new customers and payments can be tested in a dry run: your ERP runs the full logic and then rolls everything back.
-
Fully traceable
Every document records its origin in the ERP: channel, web reference and who ordered – customer, inside sales or partner.
-
Versioned & future-proof
The shop detects the installed version and enables features accordingly. When you move from NAV to Business Central, only the ERP connection is replaced – the shop, customer accounts and processes stay.
Features
Everything B2B buyers expect – and your team needs.
From the first search to the paid invoice: the Enterprise B2B Shop covers your business customers' entire purchasing process – with the data and rules from your ERP.
Prices & availability

Finance self-service
Invoices, balances and payments – all self-service.

Orders & quotes
One order history. Every channel.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can't find your question? We're happy to answer it personally.
What does the Enterprise B2B Shop cost?
That depends on your starting scope: which features you launch with, how much adaptation your ERP needs and who operates the shop. One thing is certain: you need no middleware or connector license and no separate search or cache servers – the infrastructure is serverless and scales with usage. After analyzing your system, we send you a detailed quote.
Which ERP versions does the shop work with?
With Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – online and on-premises; other NAV versions on request. The connection runs through a shop extension with a versioned interface contract.
Do we need middleware or a connector?
No. The shop talks to your ERP directly through a single web service: it requests prices and availability live and hands over orders through a queue – not through an overnight sync. Item master data and a lean customer index for your sales team's search follow a change feed from the ERP, with a daily reconciliation as a cross-check. No file interface, no shadow prices.
What changes in our ERP?
In Microsoft Dynamics NAV, we import a dedicated block of new objects (tables, codeunits, pages) into an object range covered by your license; standard objects and existing customizations stay unchanged. In addition, the installation adds a web-service user with permission sets, a .NET add-in and one daily Job Queue entry. The import needs a NAV developer license and a window of about 5–15 minutes including a service-tier restart – always on your test system first, with a self-test and a rollback package. In Business Central, the same interface comes as an extension (app). You switch on add-on functions such as freight, payments or document copies individually in the ERP – and can switch them off again at any time.
Does our inside sales team stay in control of web orders?
Yes. Every web order arrives in your ERP as an open sales order or quote – the shop never releases, posts or reserves anything. Before creating it, your ERP prices the order again and rejects it if a price or discount has moved by more than 0.01. The shop email to your customer only confirms receipt; the order confirmation still comes from your ERP.
What happens if our ERP is briefly unavailable?
The catalog and customer portal stay online. Submitted orders wait in a queue and are transferred automatically as soon as your ERP responds again – without duplicates, thanks to idempotency keys.
How do our existing customers get into the shop?
Existing customers request access themselves with their customer number. The shop checks the details against your ERP and presents the request with risk signals for approval – to your inside sales team or the customer's own admin. Alternatively, your sales team invites contacts directly with an invitation link. New companies are created as customers in your ERP in one click after review.
We're moving from NAV to Business Central soon. Is the shop still worth it?
All the more so. The shop talks to the ERP only through ERP-neutral interfaces. When you switch, only the connection is replaced – the shop, customer accounts and processes stay.
Where is the data hosted?
The application, database and documents are hosted on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt (eu‑central‑1) – in your own AWS account if you prefer. Pages are delivered through the global AWS CDN, whose access logs are kept in the US (us‑east‑1). Service providers such as Datadog (EU region), Microsoft 365 and Stripe handle monitoring, email and online payment. An on-premises ERP is connected exclusively through a VPN.
How dependent do we become on the shop?
As little as possible. Prices, stock, customers, orders, quotes and invoices stay in your ERP – the shop calculates no prices itself and keeps no shadow prices. If you prefer, it runs in your own AWS account, and the extension can be removed following a documented procedure; standard objects are never modified.
Can our customers order directly from their own systems?
Yes – through the REST API with OAuth 2.0 and webhooks, via openTRANS, or via EDIFACT through an EDI service provider. These orders follow the same rules as the web checkout.
Can the shop be adapted to our design and processes?
Yes. We tailor design, copy, assortment rules, roles, approvals and payment methods to your company – and keep developing the shop with you.
Is the shop accessible?
The customer interface is built to target WCAG 2.2 AA: every page type passes automated accessibility tests with every release, and keyboard operation, screen-reader support and reduced motion are part of the development standard.
